I just couldn’t see any reason to continue buying it from far away when we have such rich local resources.

This is our newest product line, and we are so excited for the launch! My child’s therapist introduced me to CBD. She recommended it for anxiety and sleeplessness.  It was amazingly effective. It has made a huge difference in our family.

I purchased my first tincture from a company out of state. However, it didn’t take me very long to realize that right here in Colorado there are many hemp growers. There are several who are environmentally conscious and use organic farming practices as well as  CO2 extraction methods. I just couldn’t see any reason to continue buying it from far away when we have such rich local resources. Now our policy is to use only Colorado grown CBD.

Since I have been making creams, salves, tinctures, and lotions for a while, it wasn’t too far of a stretch to learn how to make CBD infused items. I have spent hours upon hours researching CBD’s  benefits and side effects. I’ve explored the ways people have used it. I’m confident that these products can contribute to healthy lifestyles and support relief from several health issues. Of course, you should always consult your doctor before use.

If you’ve never used CBD, there are a couple of articles I would recommend reading as you begin your journey. The first is from Wellness Mama, who has been a wonderful resource for me since I first started crafting lotions and such. For your own education I suggest you read this article she wrote,  it is well-researched and I consider it a must read. You can find it here.

The second article helps demystify CBD dosing. There are several factors which will influence which items are right for you as well as how many milligrams you should use. I highly recommending reading and bookmarking this article for reference.

There is a lot of mis-information going around about CBD. Some people claim that it is fully legal in all states. My research has led me to believe this is a bit of a murky issue. CBD extracted from the mature stalks and stems of hemp plants (which is what we use) is, in fact, completely legal. The problem is that CBD sourced from marijuana plants remains illegal in many places. To be absolutely sure not to put our customers at risk, we are currently only selling CBD infused products to our customers in states where every kind of CBD is legal. These states are Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Maine.

  1. I have a couple ultra rare diseases one is Vasculitis and the other is aHus. Both involve my immune system and cause inflammation in my body. I’m on a steroid now and would much rather be on something natural instead of the steroid.

    1. Hi Christy,
Thanks for your inquiry. I’m sorry to hear about your health issues. Firstly, you absolutely need to talk to your doctor first. Once he’s on board, he should tell you which dosage of cbd oil to start at.

May I tell you a little bit of my story? I have fibromyalgia and central apnea (with this, your brain doesn’t always tell your body to breathe, it’s rare.) I also have colitis and used to have migraines. I began on a lower dosage, which is critical because you need to,under your doctors supervision, see how you respond as your dosage is increased. In just 4 months time I have had no migraines, 80% less fibromyalgia symptoms and no colitis ‘events’. It will be hard to tell if the cbd oil is helping the central apnea for a while.I use a CPAP machine at night and testing probably won’t happen until next spring.

You’ve probably read about the benefits of CBD oil. I know so many people who are so very thankful they have it. But YOU really need to be doctor supervised. again, when and if you decide to try it, please start at the 250 mg tincture and gradually increase as needed. I currently take 133 mg/day. That’s one dropper full of the 2000 tincture every morning and night. By the way, our product tastes amazing. There’s NO thc in it either. We test our final product at a local lab. The batch two weeks ago came back exactly as it should have. Pure CBD with no thc.
I wish you the best of luck navigating your way through your health issues.
